Translation into Asian languages

Asia is home to 60% of the entire world’s population. Within this diverse population there are more than 5 broad linguistic families, including: Central and North Asian, East Asian, Southeast Asian, South Asian and Southwest Asian. Each of these language families is split even further, making it very difficult to rely on a ‘one-size-fits-all’ translation solution like those which are typically found online.

LinguaVox, with translation bureaus in Europe and the USA, is a certified technical translation agency offering translation services into 150 languages, including most Asian languages – Arabic, Aramaic, Assamese, Azeri, Baluchi, Bengali, Bhojpuri, Cantonese Chinese, Cebuano, Gan Chinese, Gujarati, Hakka Chinese, Hebrew, Hiligaynon, Hindi, Hmong, Ilokano, Indonesian, Iranian, Japanese, Javanese, Kannada, Kazakh, Khmer, Korean, Kurdish, Kyrgyz, Lao, Malay, Malayalam, Mandarin Chinese, Marathi, Min Chinese, Mongolian, Nepali, Oriya, Persian, Punjabi, Sinhala, Sundanese, Tagalog, Tamil, Tatar, Telugu, Thai, Tibetan, Turkish, Urdu, Uzbek, Vietnamese, Wu Chinese, Xiang Chinese, etc.

LinguaVox, S.L. focuses particularly on the translation of most spoken Asian languages, such as Arabic, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, etc (by providing translation services in the pairs English-Japanese, English-Chinese, English-Arabic, English-Korean, English-Vietnamese, among others), but without ignoring the minor languages or even the dialects.

We have a large database of Asian language professional translators of common Asian languages, specialized in different technical fields – medical, pharmaceutical, patents, websites, sworn, certified, legal, financial, marketing, etc. These translators translate only into their mother tongue, thus guaranteeing that the target text reads smoothly and flows as if it had been written directly in the target language.

However, in the case of translations from minority languages into English, we cannot always guarantee that the translations are carried out by native English translators, as there might be no native translators available. In those cases, we will inform the client about this issue before proceeding with the job.

In case our clients have problems viewing the special characters these languages employ, we offer them a wide array of formats for the delivery of the translations (for instance, PDF, where fonts cannot be corrupted and special characters can be viewed properly and without problems). Our customers only have to indicate to us their specific delivery format requirements and we will do our best to fulfill their needs.

You can read our articles Special requirements for languages with characters that are not Latin and Multilingual Desktop Translation Service for a detailed explanation of common issues and a list of all the DTP packages we use (Framemaker, Indesign, Quark, Pagemaker, etc.)
Due to the high number of speakers of Indian languages, and Chinese and the increasing importance of these languages in the world, we have included specific sections for these languages:
